Base items
Weapons
Stats:
- 51 at present
- 13 base weapons with standard price < 100AU!
Todo:
Reduce number of base weapon types (to ~30?):
- beaked axe
- lucerne hammer
Enchanting to-dam should get harder as you get nearer the maximum damage the weapon can do. (A 1d4 dagger will get to max. +4 in this method; 2d5 longsword can get to +10.)
Make weapon dice slightly different more often.
Spears should have a small AC bonus
Remove priest weapon penalty.
Remove pointless curses and gratuitously broken items.
Narrow ESP down a bit (?). e.g. slay dragon + ESP should just detect dragons
Critical hits should be based on weight of weapons and strength more than they are. (see CatH)
Armour
18 basic types of body armour, with odd differences in AC between armours. Suggest smoothing this out a bit.
Consumables
Some weak potions/scrolls should have their effects combined or replaced. Replace Boldness and Slow Poison with scroll of Benediction which does both.
Scrolls
Stats:
- 43 scrolls
- 5 worthless, two "summons" (make rarer)
- 4 terrain detection-types
Todo:
- Add scrolls of fireproofing, acidproofing, coldproofing.
- Add !DeepDescent, which puts you 200' down from your deepest dlev.
